Monday Made It ~ 6.22.15

Hello!
So sorry I have been absent from blogging but I will try and get more out there this summer!

Today I am going to link up with Tara from
My Monday Made it is a small one ...
I am baby stepping it back into creating!

My goal this summer is to do small things to get ready for the next school year and accomplish quality time with my littles.

So ... I made my table numbers!
I printed, laminated, and cut them out.
They are now ready to go one my tables for next year.

I make them in rainbow colors and numbers 1-4.

Here is what one table set looks like:
I attach them to the corners of my tables. I use them every day with my kiddos in different ways.

Each week I rotate "Table Captains" by their numbers.

I also flexibly regroup them into smaller groups according to their number. (I call these "Hoop It Up" Groups)
This is a "Hoop It Up" Group in action!

I also pick my "Super Scientist" using the numbers.
Here is a picture of my "Super Scientist" badges on IG.

Share time can be done by the numbers so one kiddo from each table can share. (but not limited to it)

There are soooo many ways you can utilize these numbers in your classroom.

I hope this gave you a simple idea for classroom management.
I know it has really worked well for me and my students!
Have a very HAPPY week!

Sunday Scoop ~ 2.22.15

This is my first time linking up with Teaching Trio!

Here is my Sunday Scoop ...
Do you ever have one of those days when you can not seem to get everything on your list done?  Then you find other distractions fun things to do instead ...
That is me today!!!

3 To Do's:
1. Do all of the laundry I have put off all weekend! I did most of it, but it is sitting in a stack waiting for me to put it away.  Hummmm ... maybe tomorrow ...
2.Finish the grade level weekly newsletter. I did this!  Yahoo!!!

3.Organize all of our outfits for tomorrow. I am almost done with this activity.  Mine is ready, Corey's is ready & he even helped, KK's is not even close!

2 Hope To Do's:
1.Finish two products I have been working on. Ummmm .. nope!

2.Join in on the TPTCHAT tonight. Yes, and it was GREAT!!! If you want to check it out is should be archived #tptchat.

1 Thing I am Happy To Do:
Spend some quality time with my kids. Not as much as I would like! Those chores sure do take away from what matters most.  I wish I had a magic fairy to get it all done!

I hope your scoop was a ton more successful than mine!!!
Have a very HAPPY week!

February Currently~

Better late than never!
Right now my life is rather boring ... I am really trying to decide if I should go to the TPT conference alone.  YIKES!!! I do not like to travel alone.  Anyone going from Houston???

Here is my Feb. Currently:
Yes, that is me right now in a nutshell.

The one thing I have been working on is decluttering my spaces ... It is so hard because I am a hoarder by nature.  I can find a use for almost anything.  I LOVE to reduce, recycle, and reuse! I have been doing a little selling on the BBBS on Facebook.  It is slow going but I will be successful!

I hope the currently finds you in good health and good spirits!
Stay posted for some upcoming fun!
My goal is to start blogging more.
Hugs!

Currently ~ January 2015!

I can't believe it is already 2015, where does the time go?
I have be so busy!
I am hoping for a FANTASTIC 2015!
OK, time to focus on Currently!
Here it goes...

Listening:  To the steady hum of my computer.  I have been on it WAY too much during the holiday and have not been very productive.  My husband keeps saying, "Step away from the laptop."  I think I will do that some today!

LovingThat I have until Monday to relax, enjoy the family time, and get things done!  Even though I love my job and students ... I LOVE my days off!  My family is so important to me and I love spending time with them.  Even if it is cuddling and watching a movie!

Thinking: I have so many ideas swimming in my head and so many items on my to do list … is there enough time?  I have got to get a handle on this ADHD!!!  I make lists, but that is still not keeping me focused.

WantingTo plan a vacation for my family. Trying to keep the cost low, but still have a ball! I am going to try and plan for some small day trips at least once a month.  My kids are growing so fast and I feel like I am spending way to much time focusing on things that won't matter in the end.

NeedingTo write thank you cards for all of the wonderful gifts I got this Christmas. I wrote all of the ones for my kids in my class before I left for the break and that felt so good!  I need to get the others in the mail! They are on that list ...

Yes, maybe, I wish: To loose some of the weight I collected this year and start using my gym membership.  I am really making an effort to eat more at home, save some money, and try to get to the gym. I just do not like going to the gym alone ... anyone go alone and is it THAT bad?

OK, now it is your turn ... go link up with Farley so I can read all about your Currently!

Have a Happy New Year!

Organizing in the New Year

I am so excited to be linking up with The Elementary Entourage!!!
Please make sure you go to her website and check out everyone's great ideas.

Below you will see the calendar of events:

I love to organize!
My friend/TPT partner and I have created a number of items that can help you organize in the New Year.

Here are some of my favorite organization ideas:

Here are my table organization carts:
What are they are used for?
All of my students journals, student books, current language & math manipuatives, and anything each table needs to have easy access to.
They are all color coded and their is no confusion about which one belongs to which table.  I LOVE my labels. On top are the kids daily supplies close at hand.  There is no wondering around to find what they need.  It helps our day run smoothly. Everything stays pretty neat and tidy.  I would recommend them to anyone. I was lucky enough to have parents donate 6 of them last year.  They usually sit between two tables, but I have to do a different classroom design this year and these are next to one table.  The yellow table backs up the the yellow cart.  I took the wheels off so they would not move around.  I hope you like them.

My helpers ...
So nice and organized!  Every child has a leadership role and are super excited to see which role they will take on each week.
It really helps make the day run smooth when everyone pitches into help & the kids are so proud!
We have a variety of classroom designs in our store!
Click HERE to see our variety!

Math Binders
These have really helped me organize my materials!  I love them.  When someone asks me about a skill, I just grab the binder and get to work. I love the look on their face when they see them ...  They really think I am very organized!
(I just do not open the messy cabinets in front of them. -shhhh)
Click HERE to get to the binders they come in zebra, too.

I loved the math binders so much, I made science binders, too!
Click on the picture to check them out.
